Yamaha FZ1
Yamaha FZ1 with Liquid-cooled DOHC in-line four-cylinder, 5-valve engine with fuel injection offering optimum performance in the practical-use range, It is a liquid-cooled 4-stroke DOHC in-line four-cylinder, 5-valve engine with fuel injection. The compression ratio change has been achieved by adjusting the gasket thickness.
Fuel injection with sub-throttle valve for outstanding drivability and environment-friendly performance . This control system optimizes the intake air speed and realizes best volumetric efficiency in all rpm ranges and helps achieve excellent drivability in the low- and mid-speed ranges.
Riding position with better machine grip feeling . A new 18-liter large fuel tank that enables rider to sit 49mm forward compared to the existing model, has been adopted. This has enabled a longer seat design that lets the rider sit farther forward on the seat to experience athletic handling in which the rider feels closer to the front tire.
